Unmask The Music Project is a celebration of independent music artists who are now performing concerts live again, after the complete shutdown of live music and concerts during the Covid pandemic, and in remembrance of those who we lost

thom sequoia was born with a guitar in his hands
O.K., maybe that's not exactly true, but there's been music playing up in his head since the moment he came out of the womb, picking and a grinning. (This is actually literally true. Tommy started humming music before he could talk at 1 years old. And from age 1 -2 he and his sister Cheryl were already using their creative minds and speaking a language to each other only they understood, before he had actually learned English.) That's why he wrote his first song when he was 7 years old, called "The Dragon And The Butterfly", and hasn't stopped writing and playing music since. Music and creativity are always in his head, and in his soul.

THOM'S STORY
The Artist's Dream
When Thom was a teenager, after winning multiple music awards - including best unsigned rock band on a rock radio contest in the greater San
Francisco Bay Area - his path was headed toward becoming a singer-songwriter & recording artist.
But after college, marriage, and starting a family, he made a conscious choice to avoid any national limelight, and instead do music on the side - while he worked full time in the fields of retail management and marketing - so his wife and growing family would not have to endure the life on the road and touring of a traveling musician.
As a result he founded a concert , events, and marketing promotion company called Acoustihouse.com , through which he has helped hundreds of Artists and Bands, and organized and promoted over 125 events for the last 27 years.
But...
He made a vow that once his kids were grown, if he still loved playing music and songwriting, he would one day pursue his dream of a music recording artist career, as well as launch a music project that promotes other independent bands and artists not on major labels on a national scale called The New Music Revolution.
That day is now.

Thom Sequoia is available for playing live shows at festivals, venues, house concerts, weddings, or corporate gigs.
He has also hosted many concert series and festival events, and been a keynote speaker on the music industry, as well as presented multiple songwriting seminars and workshops, and is available as a host or presenter.
He currently works full time as the Yamaha Music School Executive Director in Spanish Fork, UT, and does music projects on the side.
